Ring Etiquette
Navigation Bar placement – situations to avoid:
- If you have a special WebRing's page, or if the Page on which the Navigation Bar stands is not included in your site's menu or navigation system, in either case, you need to provide links to this page!
These links need to be clearly visible and easily accessible to all visitors to your site -- not only to those arriving via WebRing navigation.
In behalf of all Ring Members, I must suspend pages that may be jamming Ring traffic, or trying, in whatever way, to take unfair advantage of the Ring membership.
- Another example of unacceptable placing of the Navigation Bar Code is to paste it at a screen's distance, or so, from the last line of text, without any indication that there is more, below that line.
Please do not do it, or I am forced to e-mail you, letting you know of the problem, and suspending your page, until the problem is fixed.
I hate to have to suspend a page! But I do it, in behalf of the group, if/when necessary.
Should you have any question regarding this, or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'm always ready to be of assistance.
