Submit your Page to a Ring
Once you click on the "Join" link, you will find instructions to follow, throughout.
If this is your first Ring Membership, please see here, too.
If you are already a member of WebRing, please go here.
What's the procedure for submitting your page to a Ring?
To submit your page to a Ring, you will need to provide the following:
- the URL for the page/site you wish to join the Ring with
This is the URL where the Ring Navigation Bar will stand! Please note that the Navigation Bar Code must necessarily be placed onto the page the URL of which you submit!
This is a fundamental rule for any Ring membership -- not just MieNet's Rings.
What's a Navigation Bar?...you might be asking. It is a string of code that enables surfing from one site to another, within a Ring. You can see here the NavBars for MieNet's Rings.
As the term "ring" well evokes it, you can surf an entire Ring, from site to site, no matter its size, and no matter where you start from. And it is the Navigation Bar that makes this possible -- thus its relevance!
- the title, or any title, for your Web site, or a title for the page you are submitting
(maximum length: 50 characters)
- a description of your site or page
This description should demonstrate how your page/site is related to the theme of the Ring you wish to join, and it should of course allow those who read it to have a good idea of what they will find on your page/site, if they choose to visit it.
That's all!
Note: You can alter the title or description anytime, in the future.
Please remember you can help speed up the 'Join' procedure:
place the Navigation Bar Code on your page right away!
— that is, on the page at the same URL as you have submitted!
pls. do this as soon as you have submitted your page/site!
To manage your site, at WebRing, you must be logged in to your account!
